Welcome to Bump Buddy ("we," "our," or "the Bot"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data of our users and Discord servers. This Privacy Policy is issued by JC Integrations (CVR 43145363), Denmark, acting as the Data Controller.
By adding Bump Buddy to your server, interacting with it, or logging into our website and web dashboard ("the Website"), you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. What Data Do We Collect?
We only collect data that is strictly necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Bot’s core functionality and dashboard features.
For Individual Users & Website Visitors:
• Discord User IDs: We temporarily or permanently store your Discord User ID when you interact with the bot to track bump statistics and assign reminders.
• Dashboard Authentication & Cookies: When logging into our dashboard, we securely use Discord OAuth2. We do not see or store your Discord password. We use standard functional cookies to maintain your login session active.
• Website Analytics: We use Umami to collect anonymous usage statistics for our Website. This helps us understand general visitor traffic and improve user experience. Umami does not track you across different websites, does not use cookies, and anonymizes all IP addresses. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.
• Bump Statistics: We log which user performed a bump for a specific server to generate personalized leaderboards and statistics.
• Custom Reminders: If you create a manual reminder, we store your Discord User ID and the custom message text you provide so we can deliver it back to you at the requested time.
• Subscription & Premium Data: If you purchase a premium subscription, your payment and financial details are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store or see your credit card or billing information. We only store your Discord User ID and your Stripe Customer ID to link your subscription benefits to your account.
For Discord Servers:
• Server Configuration & Settings: We store server-specific settings (such as custom bump channels, reminder roles, and customized messages configured via bot or dashboard) to ensure proper operation.
• Server Statistics: We maintain global bump counts and basic metrics for historical and server statistic purposes.
3. How Is Your Data Used?
Your data is used exclusively to:
• Deliver core bot and dashboard features (such as sending automated/manual reminders and displaying stats).
• Manage premium subscriptions and link your Stripe purchases to your Discord account.
• Maintain and optimize proper functionality within your Discord server and website ecosystem.
Data Sharing Policy: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with third parties, except as required by law or to securely process transactions via our payment processor, Stripe.
4. Data Retention & Security
• Reminders: Custom reminders and messages are automatically deleted from our active database once the reminder has been triggered and sent.
• Statistics & Settings: This data is kept for as long as the bot is operational, or until a deletion request is made. If the bot leaves a server, that specific server's configuration data is deleted.
• Security: We employ industry-standard technical measures to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
5. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)
As a company based in Denmark, we fully respect your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, request rectification of inaccurate data, or demand complete deletion of your data.
• For Server Admins: You can instantly wipe all saved configurations and server statistics from our database by using the /settings reset all command in your server.
• For Individual Users: If you wish to have your individual bump statistics, active reminders, or associated premium IDs completely removed, please contact our support team directly via our Support Server, and we will process your request promptly.
